Ugborough Steepers is a local hedgelaying group launched by Graham Gilbert, and supported by South Brent Steepers (www.ssb.org.uk) who generously share knowledge, health and safety advice, hedge laying techniques and tools! The group has been working on a hedgebank on the north side of Northways Lane October 2021. Group members have been able to attend a hedge laying course run by Devon Rural Skills Trust, made possible by a community grant from South Hams District Council. We’re a small friendly group always happy to welcome new participants regardless of previous experience.
