The Tithe Map that is digitised was surveyed by John Taperell in 1842 and the original is in Plymouth. The second Tithe Map was surveyed by John Grant in 1843 and is held in Exeter. There are two main differences. The Plymouth one has colour markings on it and the place names are in lower case. The Exeter one is in black & white except for occupied buildings hatched in red and the place names are in upper case.
